We were approached by Adelaide innovation hub, Lot Fourteen to collaborate on an exciting hoarding design project.
Being in such a prominent location on North Terrace in Adelaide’s CBD, the hoarding required a striking, memorable design that served to attract walkers-by and invite them to discover the Lot Fourteen innovation district and brand new cafe ‘Good Neighbor Deli.’
With an artistically-open brief that aimed to both communicate and evolve the Lot Fourteen brand and its focus sectors, we got to work ideating and conceptualising.
The result; a fresh, exciting, energetic and engaging piece of art spanning 30 metres.. Each focus sector including; defence, space, hi tech and creative industries was equally represented and communicated through abstract shapes, optical illusions, pixel art illustrations and manipulated typography while utilising key visual aspects of the Lot Fourteen brand.
Pairing with the hoarding design were integrated AR effects that invited passers-by to engage with different sections of the hoarding. The AR effects included an ‘Astro Jump’ game, A ‘Who Will You Be?’ random selector game and an educational animated world effect that brings the hoarding to life.
